Bob Dylan's 66th Birthday
just heard on NPR this morning that Bob Dylan turns 66 today, and that got me to thinking about my latest post about his latest album, and while I won't reverse my opinion, I do have to admit that
hey - he IS Bob Dylan.
The man's made 44 albums, and he's been in the business longer than the lifespans of two and a half generations of human beings and by golly if he wants to make 65 minutes of nothing but armfarts and spittoon dings then that's his prerogative.
So, you go, boy! Make me some music! (But I do sure miss the songs . . . you know, like "Visions of Johanna" "It's Alright Ma, I'm Only Bleeding" "Gates of Eden" "Shelter from the Storm" - you know - songs!!)
Oh well - I suppose I should be happy with what you've already given us, Mr. Zimmerman - so let me just say
Happy Birthday!
